Villa Portia

Villa Portia is situated at Marari. Marari derives its names from Mararikulam, a small village in Kerala inhabited by the local fishermen. Life in this place hasn't changed much in the last many decades. Men here continue to go for fishing in the morning while the womenfolk perform the necessary household chores. This small village is a host to numerous soft sand beaches that promises one a holiday that will relieve him from all worries and tensions amidst this beautiful place with vast expanse of land, water and swaying palm trees.

Palm trees, glowing sun, long beaches - the cherished imageries of an ideal vacation. Villa Portia has all these ingredients. Pavi is on the Arabian coast, a spacious half century old traditional Kerala home with two well-appointed rooms that still retain an old-world charm. An alluring aura of village life enhances your vacation. Its proximity to the Venice of the east (Alleppey) with its backwaters and houseboats and the possibility of a visit to a coir factory or a ayurvedic health spa make it delightful. A cool breeze from the sea, the sight of a swaying palm and the warmth of the tropical climate will linger in your memories.

Villa Portia has two luxurious A/c rooms equipped with all the modern amenities that assure the highest quality of accommodation, with good kitchen amenities to fire your culinary interest. But, if you plan to get away with books or a leisure trip, the caretaker will take care of the cooking.
